Is officially my new favorite movie. It might be the fact that the Na'Vi are like giant blue cats, or maybe the fact that it takes place on an alien world or maybe it's the giant bird... lizard... things. or possibly because I actually like the characters. either way, it's the best movie I've seen in a long while. It's also the source of my new favorite quote "How do I know if it's chosen me?""It will try to kill you"

well my dad got windows 7 yesterday and had me install it on a few of our computers here, mine included. aside from a couple new wallpapers it's basically the same thing as the Beta... except it's only home premium and not ultimate, it doesn't really matter seeing as how the only reason I really wanted ultimate was because of the bragging rights... nothing in ultimate is really worth it for me anyway.. just all of the features in business and a couple extra things for data encryption and the like. AAAANYway I still have all of my music and pictures and stuff except I accidentally deleted my blender files so I guess it's a fresh start in more way than one :D

it's almost that time of year

and that makes me feel very happy. The color of the leaves are changing, the weather is getting colder and now I'm drinking coffee in the morning to warm up instead of just having something to drink! and I'm loving every minute of it. I don't know why I like the cold I just know that I do and it seems as though I'm being a little more productive in these colder days. unfortunately it's not so cold it's snowing yet but it's still cooling down nicely

this week started out OK, I woke up, brushed my teeth, ate my breakfast, played some games and so on, but from there on it all just kind of went downhill... literaly. I went on a hike the next day, a kind of warmup hike to prepare for a 12 day hiking trip, backpack and all, while going on a slight downhill I stepped on a rock about the size of my head and unfortunatly about the same shape too, nice and round. The side of my foot rolled off of said rock and the rest of my ankle went with it, please note, I had 45 pounds in that backpack. Shortly after rolling, spraining, or whatever-ing my ankle I went forward like a tree being felled... with 45 pounds strapped to my back... luckily I fell on to flat ground and nothing in my leg or foot broke. However I had to spend the next 2 days with my foot up and ice on it. While It might sound like fun not being able to do anything for yourself and having to have everyone do things for you, it's not, not when your ankle hurts like hell even to move and the feeling of absolute helplesness just plain sucks, like even though you wan't to make your own sadwich, you can't. Add on to that the fact that I had to watch whatever was on TV (which was usually something boring) because I had no controll of the remote and you get the most boring 2 days of anyones life. On top of that, at the first sign of my ankle not quite hurting when I try to walk people started asking me to do everything. gee, thanks, make the cripple do all the work. My grandparents were also visiting this week which means I had to spend most all of my time with them. Don't get me wrong, I love em' an all but I have other things that I like to do, like not arguing about what's wrong with the world. Speaking of grandparents, my gandpa likes old western movies, and I can understand the appeal- people out in the wild without a suburb in sight, everyone usually with guns, being the hero of the land- but man there is some cheesy acting in those, for example, a man gets shot in the hand, recoils in pain for a moment, then gets up and starts walking away while looking around for the good guy as if nothing had happened. And for those of you who have been waiting for that rose I've been making, I have a good excuse as to why it's not done yet! it's been rendering for that past 6 days! Not really because it's taking so long but because I've had to restart it 4 times. the first time was my fault, I accidentally closed the render window, the second time Windows automatic update restarted my computer, the third time we got hit by a power outage, and if you count the initial start, that makes the fourth

Well that's my week thus far and fortunatly I can walk again, still hurts, but at least I can walk without too much pain, and I can make my own sadwich again. I hope you enjoyed my little rant (or at least found it to be of some intrest or found it as just something to read) and if not then you shouldn't have read a journal titled "well my week sucked"
